Jack Sparrow

Size: 50x60 cm

This was my first textured portrait using a palette knife — and it took forever to get every detail just right.

The idea behind it draws from the moment Johnny was dropped from his role in Pirates of the Caribbean.
I painted the fictional part - Jack - in black and white to symbolize the past: faded, still, gone. But kept the eyes alive. Because while Jack may be "dead," Johnny keeps living, creating, and rising.

For the observant viewer, several subtle symbols are woven into the painting...
- each one a quiet nod to his story, his spirit, and what lies ahead.
